My stay at the Pan Pacific Toronto had ups and downs. While the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, I struggled with slow check-in and issues like lingering smells in the room. The dining experience left much to be desired, and I faced some service hiccups during my stay. Overall, it felt like there was potential for a better experience but several factors held it back.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but they had a lingering cigarette smell that took a while to fade. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, like towels left on the floor after housekeeping supposedly cleaned the room.
Service
5.0
While there were friendly staff members, I encountered some that seemed disengaged. The check-in process was slow, and I faced issues getting help with my luggage on departure.
Location
5.0
The hotel is in a relatively quiet area, not too far from downtown, but the surroundings could have been nicer if better maintained.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were pricey and not executed well; I found egg shells in my poached eggs during one meal. I decided to skip it for the rest of my stay due to the previous experience.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were somewhat disappointing, with issues like a noisy air conditioning unit and elevators that were often out of service. The gym was not well maintained, lacking cleanliness and functioning equipment.

6.4/10

My stay at Pan Pacific Toronto had its ups and downs. The location is decent, with easy access to various attractions. but I faced several disappointments. The rooms were generally clean and the beds comfortable, yet the overall experience was marred by service issues and miscommunication.

Rooms
6.0
I found the room clean and the bed comfortable, but it felt a bit dated and in need of maintenance. There were noise issues near the elevators, and I received a room on the second floor despite my request for a higher one.
Service
5.0
While the housekeeping staff were pleasant, the front desk service was lacking. I felt underserved, and there was a noticeable absence of friendliness from most staff. I experienced miscommunication about room service availability, which was frustrating.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is convenient, allowing for quick access to downtown Toronto, but it felt too far if relying on public transportation. The surrounding area was nice, with plenty of trees, yet it could be more inviting for walking around.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed during my stay and I missed the promised room service. It felt like a letdown, especially with high room rates. Previous visits to the restaurant left me hopeful, but this time, it did not meet my expectations.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like housekeeping were excellent, but I found overall maintenance lacking. I encountered elevator noise issues and a confusing bar setup that made the restaurant feel closed off.

I had a mixed experience at Pan Pacific Toronto. While the lobby was beautifully designed and the shower pressure was fantastic, the rooms felt dated and in need of maintenance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I encountered several issues with the facilities that detracted from my overall stay. 😊

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had several issues, including a lack of air conditioning during a heatwave and maintenance problems like non-functioning electrical outlets. The second room I was given also had temperature control issues and some signs of wear and tear.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff I encountered were friendly and willing to assist, but on a few occasions, I felt the service could have been more proactive, especially during check-in and check-out.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated a bit far out from downtown, which may not be ideal for those looking to explore the city easily. However, I found several restaurants and shops within walking distance, which was convenient.
Dining
5.0
I opted for dining options outside the hotel, as the on-site restaurant did not impress me with its breakfast selection. The atmosphere was nice, but the food wasn't nice.
Facilities
5.0
Aside from the problems with the sauna and gym location, I found the amenities generally acceptable, but several areas needed renovations and attention to detail.

The staff were super friendly, especially at check-in. They really helped me feel welcome and were always willing to lend a hand.
Location
8.0
The hotel was in a quiet area with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was a little tricky to get around without a car, but still manageable.

I noticed that there was a paid breakfast option, but it would’ve been nice to have a free one. The dining experience left a bit to be desired because of that.

I had a pleasant stay at Pan Pacific Toronto with a few highlights and some drawbacks. The check-in process was smooth, thanks to the friendly front desk staff, and my room was spacious and clean. However, the lack of a restaurant and breakfast options was a noticeable downside. Overall, I appreciated the hotel's valuable location and comfortable accommodations.

The Deluxe Room I stayed in was exceptionally clean and offered great comfort, though I did notice the bed creaked at times which was quite distracting.

The service was generally good, with a friendly staff ready to help, although I did experience some delays with the elevators which could have been better.
Location
7.0
I enjoyed the location, as it provided easy access to local dining options and the city. Still, it was a bit far from downtown attractions, which was a slight inconvenience.
Dining
6.0
While there were no on-site dining options, I found local food around the hotel which made up for it. However, it would have been nice to have breakfast available within the hotel.
